I am "the art teacher" at a small rural school, but am not intrinsically artistic myself or had any real formal art training, so steps that might seem obvious to you are NOT to me! We will do s...At school we work on several at once. We will do step 1 on an inchie and then while that step is drying work on another. I have a powerpoint for the kids in the order that works best for me. For the poppy inchies I did them over 2 sessions and this was my order:<br />- cut out cardboard poppy and drywall<br />- paint blue sky of John Nolan<br />- glue book page on inchie, trim<br />- glue 2 paper pieces on other inchie<br />- paint green of John Nolan<br />- paint black wash on text page<br />- paint light blue in sky of John Nolan<br />- use leftover blue paint to paint inchie with the 2 pieces of paper glued to it<br />- paint board black<br />End of 1st session<br />- paint light green/yellow on John Nolan<br />- paint drywall inchie using 2 reds<br />- paint piece of paper red, print with cardboard darker red<br />- do Georgia o'Keeffe inchie<br />- paint poppies using leftover red paint on John Nolan<br />- do poppy and stem for 'P is for Poppy' inchie<br />- glue drywall poppy to inchie<br />- add stems to John Nolan<br />- choose best 3, mount on black board<br />Hope that helps<br /><br />Gail Bartelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15549902387435797475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6935245842937611173.post-86807053469084490572014-11-11T11:25:22.363-07:002014-11-11T11:25:22.363-07:00Do you show the kids all the steps of each inchie ...Do you show the kids all the steps of each inchie FIRST.
